Chinese Baptist Church of Coral Springs

CBCCS is an evangelical Chinese church, located in the southern edge of Coral Springs, Florida.

From Vision to Growth

Founded in 1992 as a gospel mission by Paster Lau Kowng Wah to reach Broward County’s growing Chinese community, CBCCS flourished under Pastor Linus Lau’s leadership, leading to a new building in 1999 and an expansion in 2008. Today, the church remains active and continues to grow, faithfully serving the community and sharing the gospel.

Diverse Community United in Worship

Our ministry serves a diverse community of Mandarin, Cantonese, and English speakers. From students to professionals, locally and regionally. Many come from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. Worship is the cornerstone of our church life.

CBCCS holds Sunday services in English at 9:00 AM and Chinese at 10:45 AM, alternating between Mandarin and Cantonese. Our growing ministries welcome a diverse, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational community.

Our children’s ministry nurtures kids in God’s grace, including a special needs class. As a family-oriented, multi-generational church, we host lively gatherings across all ages on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Our Vision

As God’s chosen and beloved people, we gratefully, joyfully, and solemnly pledge to be faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ.

We will be faithful to Him in Worship, loving Him, honoring Him, praising Him, thanking Him, and offering ourselves to Him as living sacrifices. (Luke 10:27; Rom. 12:1; Heb. 12:28-29; John 4:23-24)

We will be faithful to Him in Word, obeying all that He commands, and submitting to His sovereign rule. (Psalm 119; John 14:23-24, Luke 6:46; 2 Tim. 3: 16-17)

We will be faithful to Him in Witness: testifying daily to His love, mercy and grace. (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20)

We will be faithful to Him in Welcome, seeking His fellowship daily, and sharing His love with one another. (1 John 1:1-4; Psalm 133; Acts 2:42-47; John 13:34-35)

With this vision as our guide, and the Holy Spirit as our helper, let us live each day for Him in faithfulness, glorifying Him and enjoying Him, both now and forevermore.

How We’re
Governed and Led

Rooted in the Baptist Congregational tradition, CBCCS is an independent, self-governing church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Conference for fellowship and missions. Major decisions are made by active members at biennial Business Meetings, guided by the Board of Deacons and Church Council.

The Senior Pastor leads spiritually and administratively, supported by the Assistant Pastor, Worship Minister, Children Minister, and the Board.
